This documentary addresses how plant-based eating is directly linked to African roots and how African-American eating habits have been debased by a chain of oppression stemming from slavery, economics and modern agribusiness. This film will be featured at the Animal Rights 2018 National Conference #ar2018 on Sat June 30 from 1 – 3 pm followed by a panel discussion with Jasmine, A Vegan Child’s Journey- Genesis Butler, Tracye McQuirter, and Milton Rene Mills, MD.
